Harassing phone calls daily

Calls several times a week - calls arrive at approx the same time each evening around 8:00 PM central time. Phone rings 4-5 rings always just short of the answering machine picking up.  How do they get away with calling when I am on the government and state do not call lists?

    I have worked at Gravin for over a year now and the fact that we are all felons maybe if you didn't have you your nose stuck up in the air and think that you are better than everyone you might have been able to last here we are regular people I come from money so it's not like I didn't choose to be the way that I am if you would open your mind instead of being close minded you might get farther in life and as far as the call and hang ups before people can answer we are on a. Automated system that is set to hang up after so many rings or of it detects an answering machine it hangs up as well if you people were that smart you would have figured that out already and obviously at some point you must have requested the publication we are calling about or we would not be calling you so here's how to solve your problem don't request something that you don't want and watch what you fill out on the internet cause that's how you also get sign up for free publication so just pay attention to what your doing and you won't have this problem

      yes i agree i was the night sales supe for a while and you are absolutely correct and i cant stand some of the anonymous complaining hitting so far below the belt are you customers THAT ignorant?  call centers all run under specific fcc guidelines and surprise we at graven austin and drake have committed no fcc violations.  also in addition to that if you cant write your own name what are you afraid of?

    They call in concentrated time spans then go away. A few months later, the calls start again. I blame myself for purchasing magazines from a young man pleading a hard luck story.  They ruin it for people really trying to catch a break. That, to me, is despicable.

      Actually they DO help those who need help the most. I'd get out of my bubble and not be so judgmental.

    After reading all of this I think I will not go to my interview today. It's good a business gives second chances, but it needs standards and keep the regard up for safety and the do not call lists.

      This company is not exactly soliciting magazine subscriptions. They have accounts they work for. If you are already receiving a FREE subscription to a magazine (mostly businesses), these are the people who call to verify that you would like to CONTINUE receiving the magazine, and update the contact info that is already on file. They also renew GIFT subscriptions for people who give magazine subscriptions as a holiday gift to their loved ones (no payment information is collected). There is also a small sales department that offers a preview of products (mostly literature/academic materials) from companies who have requested that a particular business is marketed to. If you answer and no one is on the line it's because the dialing system is experiencing a delay. If you wait just a moment the Call Center Rep will be connected.

      I have been receiving these calls, sometimes several times in one day.  When I answer they hang up.  I am on the do not call list so should not be receiving calls from telemarketers.  I have reported calls like these to the Federal Communication Department but they never do anything about it They are. 🐍🐍🐍

      Reply to lindor:  They get by with calling you even though you are on the do not call list, government, federal list because they are not
      telemarketers so the do not call list you are on does not apply to this type of calling company.  HOwever, they have their own remove
      customer from their list that they need to abide by... Depends on if the person calling you will select the remove number option on their end.

      This job is a joke .these guys hire these wannabe.gangbangers who think their lives are important because they think that's how to live life, that's a sad state of affairs when these clowns don't realize life is laughing at them! The sad reality is these "gangbangers" need to pull their heads out of their [***], and realize that that's what ruined their lives, WAKE UP!  What a shame! The worst part is, they treat people like crap.

      I have been getting numerous calls from these weasels. My friends husband, is leaving her due to one of these convicts called and left a message stating her name and she's his "main squeeze" and wanted to call and say hi and they will be meeting up when he talks to her. I called their number but got a recording. What the he'll kind of business is this, ruining families and etc, just for laughs??? I have complained to the FCC. And other authorities to see if this can be stopped,and maybe closed down this so called business.

      Honest Review
      I quit this place. I gave it a chance after not even 2 weeks my trainer was fired for threatening an employee in front of us other employees. Natasha is a weird lady and a horrible supervisor. She lets the males supervisors comment on her buttocks like we can't see and hear whats going on. Most of the supervisors are severely under qualified making it difficult for those that come to work ready to work and all they do is goof off. They want you to make certain numbers but their headsets and computers always have issues so that ends up setting you behind. The other workers are nice previous criminal history or not. And its very diverse, but the supervisors Raylynn, Josh & Natasha need thorough training and a reality check. They are so horrible to have as bosses and they are severely inappropriate. Oh and the H.R. department they have upon staffing will leave you paperworl with social security number just laying around. Perfect when your hiring ex cons... Idiots running a run down call center. Save your time and energy they are HORRIBLE!

      i was the supervisor at this company and i can tell you that there  is no reason to be fearful about getting your money that is owed to you, speak with deb rose...very nice and curteous human resources.  however the reason for hiring people that are felons because felons are actually bonded by the united states government and offer huge tax breaks to folks who are willing to give them second chance to do something better with their lives and offers them reprieve from close minded individuals such as yourself and many others while offering them sustainence so your taxes wont be paying their incomes such as foodstamps.  so food for thought for highly uneducated bunch go learn what the country was founded on and then come back to this blog i dare you!!!!!!
