Calls several times a week - calls arrive at approx the same time each evening around 8:00 PM central time. Phone rings 4-5 rings always just short of the answering machine picking up.  How do they get away with calling when I am on the government and state do not call lists?

I have worked there for 6 months and im going to make this very easy on you! Stop being lazy! If you all answer the phone the first time, and asked to be put on the do not call list. Thats it. But all u fat ppl want to sit and watch tv and piddle around. We also have an automatic dialing computer system. We never know who we call i just get a name and ask for u ppl. be easy they are ppl too. i am not a felon i have never been in handcuffs and would kill u in any sales job. DONT BE LAZY!!! UR TIME IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT. Its as much time as a tv commercial numb nuts!

Lazy has nothing to do with it. You're calling a work phone that pages me when a customer calls.
Since I am never in the office I CAN'T ANSWER the &%$#*&^ phone.
Then it's just a hang up for the message.
I'm working with my company security to get this number blocked.

    Business Relationship?
If you are calling on behalf of BH&G, and my subscription has expired, I no longer have a business relationship with that company, therefore your calling is illegal under the terms of the do not call registry.

    renewals?
If my subscription expired, I am no longer a customer, do not call registry applies!!!

    existing customer?
If I was a subscriber to a magazine, and now that subscription has expired, the business relationship is terminated.  Do not call rules now apply.  Get off my phone!

I don't subscribe to any magazines, dim bulb.  I haven't subscribed to a single magazine for over a decade now.

Follow the advice of the guy above:  Go to the FCC's web site (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm) and submit a formal complaint against these [***].  Enough complaints and they'll go buh-byes.

Bad news.  They need a better search engine.

I called the number given on their web site: (719) 548-9292 and spoke to a woman who was professional and accommodating. She immediately told me that she would put me on their do not call list. If this doesn't work, I will take the FCC complaint action.

My elderly mother has been receiving these calls,  no caller id, etc.  She was greatly disturbed and afraid.  A friend gave me their phone number and I called to request her to not be contacted.  They were friendly,  I hope it works.

    GDA employee
First, if you have had a business relationship with a GDA client within the last 18 months, this gives GDA the right to call you. in other words, if your subscription just expired, the magazine or its representatives can legally call you for up to 18 months after your subscription runs out, unless you specifically tell GDA to place you on THEIR do-not-call registry.

Second, I have been employed by GDA for about 5 weeks now.  I am using it as a filler job until I find a better position.  Being from a professional sales background, I find this organization to be the equivalent of middle school.  They have demerits for virtually any infraction one can imagine, and if one reaches a total of 15 points within a 4 week period, they are terminated.  Points are "awarded" for things like being late from break (1 point), to being sick (unexcused absence, 2.5 points).

Have received these calls daily, finally googled the name and saw this. Called the 800 number listed at the top of this, and they said I would stop receiving calls within 24-48 hours. If I don't I will call them back every day

They've been calling my work number fairly consistently, so I dialed the 1-800 number and asked to be removed.  They said they would do so; we'll see.

I get these calls daily. I answer because it is the phone at the business where I work, but no one is ever there. I have never subscribed to any magazines, and even if I did I wouldn't give them my business phone, I would give them my home phone. I wonder why they call daily and never talk to me when I answer.
I don't care if you work there or are a felon or whatever, your excuses for them don't make any sense- if they go to all the trouble of calling why don't they (you) ever talk to us when we answer?

I work at a church and was getting very frequent calls.  I just called the 800 number and asked to be taken off their calling list.  The operator apologized, said our number would be taken off the list today, and that it would take up to 72 hours to go into effect.  Wish I had realized I could just call and request it.  We'll see...
