Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

I received one call yesterday (Caller ID = RESTRICTED) and one call today (Caller ID = UNAVAILABLE). I told them "I'm on to you, I don't need your help, don't call me again". We'll see what happens next. Both had accents which I would give an uneducated guess are from Africa.

This happened to me and they took 6300 dollars from my account. I'm about to go to the cops to report them so this does not happen to anyone else. I got the money back and my bank account frozen, but yes they are a huge scam!

How were they able to get 6300 dollars out of your account?  Just curious, did you pay them for their bogus service?

Premium techie support is a scam . I foolishly allow ed them access to my computer and they took $1500 from my financial institution acct.I called them back, they admitted their wrongdoing and offered to  refund my money only if I purchased a "prepaid debit card for $500. and they would add the money they owe me plus a bonus amt. to that card. I was advised by 2 financial institutions that they cannot add money to that card and this is a common scam.Steer clear of these folks. They are crooks.

I got a very similar call.  They identified me by name and had a physical address of where I lived 8 years ago.  They told me they were from Premium Live Support.  I asked where they were located and they said Denver.  Actually, Premium Live Support is based in Denver.  I am sending them an email also.  Needless to say, I gave them nothing and hung up.  They were definitely from a third world country and had a "script" that they worked off of.  The phone number I got on caller id was 855-722-1666.  BEWARE!

I have a premium tech support account of which I called them and created the account a couple of years ago.  I to have received many phone calls some where they wanted my credit card number to refund me money, some requesting to obtain entrance to my computer, and many other various forms of harassment.  I block them when they call and after a few days of reluctant phone calls they quit.  I never entertain the harassing phone calls and let them know when I receive them

I got called by them last year for service and cost me $550.00.  Today they called saying going out of business and wanted to refund my $550.  When I typed in the amount of $110 as a partial refund, it popped up $11,000.00.  They had switched money from my checking to my savings messing up my accounts, and I was supposed to go to the bank to straighten it out and then go to Apple.  I did go to the bank and found out from the teller it was a major fraud act.  While I was at the bank, the teller hung up on them and they continued to call back.  She continued to hang up on them. The bank closed my account.  I am now having to change my bank account numbers with all companies/firms who I do automatic deposits and drafts (i.e SSA, Medicare, Health Ins., pensions, etc.)  Please BEWARE this is a major fraud issue.

Hello, I too was taken back 5/1/17 by Premium Technical Support- 877-958-7560, email: support@techliveconnect.com, VOC@techliveconnect.com Senior Mac Tech: Anshit Arora, TLC19106. Pais $299.99 & additional $139.00 for a lifetime subscription of tech issues on, All iOS and windows products. They gained access into my laptop with me and began showing alerts and fixes. I was asked to write a personal check that FedEx delivery would pickup this afternoon for the $349.99, which was ch#3640. I remember this well b/c my statement arrived,( after my calling automated banking for balance, Chks cleared, etc.) showing that same check # being cleared on 5/2/17 as known, however it was then cleared Again the next day after I get another call saying I had insufficient funds for this check, could I pay $260.00 on 5/12, then remaining $80. On Monday 5/17/17!  It totaled $689.00! I filed right away and called them back for my refund plus reported online with IC3,( FBI). My back froze Acct and put back most excluding the $349.99 Saying that I authorized this amount as written on my check. Those other clearing were paid to other tech company names I cannot think of at the moment. Recent as three months ago I got a call saying that I was due a refund b/c of going out of business. I recorded this one and turned over to local police to go with the rest of the original one in 2017. These people are ruthless! I did some digging myself and actually found a business for one of the named companies on a cleared check and called him letting him know about this. He viemitly denied knowing anything about and would be looking into it. I had an investigator on the other line before calling, she heard everything and now had all of his information. Not sure what/if happened.

I just had the problem like everyone else is having.  I got the ALERT BUZZING FLASHING on my desktop and it scared me.  It said to contact this number so they can fix it.  DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER.  All the B.S.  Dummy me, I called the number and they were showing me the most aweful porn photos that they said hacked or whatever they call that, my computer and this porn was all over
my computer.  He kept scrolling and scrolling and these porn photos were going the entire time.  SICK!
It cost me $129.99 and another $129.99 for a total of 4 years protection including the repair of that day.
I told them to forget it I wasn't interested.  I had already given them my account number, little did I know,
and they saved it.  Here I am today, 2020, this was almost 2 1/2 years ago it  happened and they tried to credit my bank credit card for $499.99 for AUTO RENEWAL FOR 2 YEARS.  Now my account is closed and I'm waiting on a new card.  I too had to contact all my AUTO PAY accounts and what ever I use this card for to change the number.  Now they're calling me.  They told me they had to disconnect the service from my computer and told me to enter the name they were giving me in my GOOGLE browser and they would handle my refund.  I THEN HUNG UP ON THEM.  They are still calling.  I know they are trying to get the information on my new card now.  Why don't they go out and get a real job and let us live our normal life and not scam everyone.  This is all they know how to do.  There should be something that can be done.  I know my bank is looking in to it.  I filed a claim with them about it.  I even told the guy
I talked to who I couldn't understand a bit, that my bank is taking control of the situation so they'll get my money one way or another.  What a shame!  I hope everyone watches all these scammers.  Especially now with the COVID-19 PANDEMIC and the HOLIDAYS coming, there is going to be a lot of this going on.  How they do it, I'll never know.  I'm not smart with this new technology.  Not at 75 years old.  I know just BASICS!  Thanks for your time.
