Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

I fell for this scam from "Premium Tech Support" too and they continued to call me to report "new viruses" on my PC.
When I received their calls 3 or 4 times I began to ask them to "hold the line while I check my stove" and I leave them hanging. The calls soon stopped coming in though I still get their pop-ups telling me about viruses on my machine. Don't know what to do about that.

Yes, I had the same problem. That you are talking about Premium Tech Support. They keep using different numbers, and yes they have accents, and I believe they are from India, but the company name when billed shows CA. This started about six months ago, when it said I had infected sites on my MAC. SO I tried to buy the Adware deal.. However, after you pay you cannot activate it unless you call this phony number, they will keep popping it up more and more. I let them in my computer and I paid 129.95 telling me I would get all this security after fighting with them for almost two hours, and told them  I could not pay anymore money as my computer was as acting up then, and I have an older IMAC, and I was desperate so at first I thought they might be right, but Mac's do not get infected as easily as as PC.

So for almost six months they left me alone, then about a week ago, the ads for Malware and Adware starting popping up again, telling me I had infected sites, first it was two then one, then three.. I called them again and I was on the phone for hours they suckered me into 129.95 and 1.99 for a year's security for the Adware cleaner, but wanted me to pay more then that for a lifetime, and if I did I would not have to keep paying. In addition, I am suppose to get lifetime support instead of the seven days. Also when the tech goes on the computer with you they ask what you do, which not their business, and sometimes they get upset because you question what they want to take out when its my computer.
On this second time, which was about three or four days ago, they called me last night and again this morning, saying they wanted me to call them back it was a feedback call, which was odd because they switch you to somebody else for feedback at the end of the call. They must work for commission or something, as they hard pressed to sell you something else, even though they tell you there will no more charges when you ask. They tell you that your computer needs to be protected from all these viruses. So I called them back because I was getting that Malware pop-up for me to buy it again, I already paid it for it, and wanted them to take that pop out it. They make you believe that they are there to help you. They said they would after switching me again, and wanted me to pay another 139.00 today so I could it get this security for a lifetime not a year, that anything could happen after a year. They kept going on and on, and  I said fix or not. They said that is why i was getting the pop up and wanted to transfer me to another person,  and have me leave my computer, I told them to get out of my computer and the guy kept going on, finally when he would not I clicked him out, and unplugged it. They were gone.... I was not going to even call them but I wanted that pop-out that I did not have before they cleaned it... I really felt like a fool, anyway I will not answer anymore calls from them ( the number says restricted, when they called, but I do those answers those I heard their voicemails) and I will just click off anything that comes through in the future, and if there is unknown charge from them I will know who it is and report it immediately
Do not go there.. I never thought of looking this place up, until now and I googled it and low and behold I saw all these reviews.. Boy I was duped... Its back on there again telling me to clear my adware and malware and secure my MAC, and then it tells you to clean it, and when you do it give you a price and tell you to call that phony number... B

Dont feel bad there was a lot of us who had the same scam. I for one is one of those guys, the window that pops up warns you of viruses and that you should call them to take care of it which looks like it could be affiliated with Microsoft or apple. It is neither, They mentioned if you don't like what you see/hear you can click right off. So I gave him control and they proceeded to take over. Feeling scared of the whole situation I decided I wanted to leave the site but he argued with me and actually pulled the arrow on the computer away from the close button. He said just give it a minute and started his hard sell. Be aware people please, you are asking for trouble.

I got the same message "Your computer has a virus, call 855-849-6786 to have it removed".  I called the number (just for grins) and he could barely speak understandable English.  He said the home office was in San Pedro, CA, but he wouldn't tell me where he was located.  He said if I wanted my computer fixed that he needed access to it.  I told him he was nothing but a scam and to leave me alone.

It seems that they claim that they are authorized from Microsoft!!!!  Not so.  I phoned the number they put on my computer and asked what this is all about?  to which they refused to answer.  when they appear on my computer and I note is all but impossible to get rid of, I feel tjat this is an invasion of privacy and illegal. I am going to contact the FCC in the US and DOC in Canada and file a complaint.

At 3:41 today, 6/23/15, I received a phone call from Premium Technical Support  and Microsoft tech support saying that my computer was hacked.   First of all Microsoft does not call. You need to hang up . At 3:15 my computer screen went blue, closed down and restarted again then I received this phone call. The caller is a foreigner and  you can not understand them.  Another sign to hang up.

Premium technical support.> one telephone number:855-265-6965.  scam alert. don't talk with these people ruined  my computer. Stole the key to my Microsoft account.  Have lost vital document in my email with everything about from social security.  Could not find it.  set up account in my name.  When I told them I believe the key to the msc account was missing. they turned everything in my files into my name as if I downloaded these 3 month subscription it. Locked out of everything as I told Microsoft about them. All I can do now is type this and I am sure they are watching.  They have even asked me to go into my email to log on and I said to them are you crazy.  Now every file is in my full name and I asked them to undo this wiped out of this and they wanted 249.to fix it.  Well, remember their one name, Premium technical support.  Would not give me their email address, and when I asked for their mailing address, they were very abrasive. and evasive.  Well have to spend more money on a  cheap computer and have all traces of these thieves

Part of the issue is the fact that these telemaggoters tend to be based overseas. It would be a lot easier shutting them down if the country of origin was willing to get involved.

Claims to be from that company. I basically sat there running him around in circle trying to waste his time for 40 minutes talking about chicken nuggets and french fries so that he couldn't scam anybody else. If you have the time and the patience to deal with these people, please waste their time.

Awesome, I did the same thing. They said my account was hacked from Russia and Nigeria and did I know anyone there? I said my 5 year old daughter goes there sometimes and my 5 year old grandson went to Nigeria to tiger hunt. Wasted so much time that he said since I know someone there then he could not help me.

Got the same pop-up several of you are talking about. Got rid of it myself, but called them anyway. Asked the tech how he could live with himself.
