Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

Yes. My son just got back $349.95 He was on the phone for about 2 hours. He was diligent. They tried to talk over him and he just said shut up you have a 100% money back guarantee and I want it back. He spoke to 3 different people and would not give in. Frankly I would have given up but he was defending his gullible fiance who fell for it. He threatened to post videos on facebook and youtube and said he will make it his mission if he did not get a refund. Like I said 2 hours of arguing if you have the stomach for it. If any of you got scammed, PLEASE flood the call center and give em hell.

yesterday my computer was hacked by PREMIUM TECHNICAL SUPPORT, the message on screen read "a questionable item on your computer was found" do not turn off your computer or your information will be lost. There was no way to close the screen.  So I called them and told I had DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON CONTRACT, and I would pay them to work on my pc, and to undo what they did. He said so call them. And hung up.  I then called Dell support and they were able to fix my problems

You could probably close your screen just by opening Task Manager and killing IE.

Premimum Tech support blocked my internet access and posted a 1-844-765-5419. to call for repair.  I called the number and asked then 3 times is this Microsoft.  They evaded the question by stating they had Microsoft trained techs.  I asked them how much to fix the problem. I could not pin them down for a price.  "We would have to access your computer to see what the problem is..."  I said no thank you.  I recommend you go to Malwarebytes.org

I have had 30 calls in 3 weeks from people representing this scam technical support company.  And this is just in the most recent round of calls.  Premium Support reps have tried this before.  No matter what I say or do--like calling them the crooks they are or just leaving them hanging on the phone while I walk away--they won't give up.  This is total harrassment.  Don't believe a word they say!  Never, never let a caller from this "company" have access to your computer!

Got a VM at my work number from Premium Technical Support saying I paid them to fix my computer in the past (which is not true) and I was supposed to call them every month and "we have not heard from you in very long time. You must call 866-914-0050." Sounded like an African or Indian accent. Could hardly understand him.  Caller ID said unavailable. Never heard of this company and never in my life have I paid anyone to fix a computer. They have some nerve to call me at work! I'm reporting this number and company name!

    scam from Ghana
Today is Jan 20, 2016.  The pop-up others have been reporting showed up on my computer yesterday and today.  How it happened:  I was looking at Facebook and noticed an interesting CNN news story in the right hand column.  I clicked on that.  What popped up was not the expected news story, but a bright red screen that says "WARNING: AT&T U-Verse Customer, Your financial and Facebook information may be breached and compromised.  Contact Premium Tech Support IMMEDIATELY at 866-977-6855...."  (I did NOT call the number.)

The 866 area code is toll-free for calls coming from North America, but that doesn't mean the person answering is also in North America.  He could be anywhere in the world.  I looked at the website address in the pop-up.  It reads: "friendsbeachguesthouse.com/errorcritical2016/"   Well, that doesn't have anything to do with CNN news nor any legitimate anti-virus/anti-malware service.  So next I googled "friendsbeachguesthouse, com" and discovered it is the website for a bed & breakfast hotel in Ghana!

Our scammer appears to be a tech-savvy thief, probably in Ghana, located far away from the jurisdiction of any U.S. law enforcement.

    Scam Alert!!!
I received a VM stating that Premium Tech Support detected problems on my computer and I was being hacked.
I called back, because I had time to screw around with them. Guy couldn't speak/understand English. He told me his name was John and he had fixed my computer a couple of months ago. I said, no you didn't. Then he said 2015. I asked which month. He said he couldn't say because of privacy. He said I paid $200 but couldn't tell me the month. I checked my bank and there are no payments at all in 2015. I told john he was a scammer. He got irate with me and wanted full control of computer. I told him we could three-way with Microsoft and suddenly he hung up. Be very aware as they will call over and over. Sick people who are the ones who do the hacking. They smell of fraud when they call!!!

I'm getting calls from Premium Technical Services (most likely the same) every day. They keep saying that that I paid them a year ago, and that my computer is sending update error messages. I have no record of ever paying them anything. I checked my computer for update error messages and found no such thing. I have told them that there is nothing wrong with my computer, and to stop calling me but they keep calling.

What should I do if I fell for this? They're calling me every day and I don't answer, but my fear is what they've already done. I removed logmein software as well as their "Advanced PC Care," but what else?
