Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

My husband actually fell for this and they were given access to my computer.  Now, they call relentlessly.  I have told them at least 25 times now NOT to call anymore and filled out a report....... What can I do about this? HELP!!

Go to National Trade Commission website and register an official complaint. They can investigate and refer to law enforcement. Will at least keep them from calling you. They will probably just get new number and continue to call others.

I fell for it too. I can't even use my laptop right now. They clearly did something. After you husband gave them access did you have problems with the computer after?

I fell for their scam 3 years ago.  They messed up my computer big time.  I cancelled the paid for services, but they are still calling many times a week in 2016.  They will not listen to my demands to be taken out of their computer call lists.

Sadly, I feel for it too on our business computer.  They hacked into our system, and almost wiped out my computer. 1-877-762-8049 is their number and they are totally bogus

I fell for it yesterday trying to install a printer driver on my computer.  I gave them acess to my computer and got a bad vibe about everything after I gave them my credit card information. Since then, I had to shut down all my accounts.

I was trying to fix my Canon printer and I did not read that it was an "offer" so I pressed accept - Just  wanted to fix it and Canon was NO help. So it pops up all the time. I scrubbed "Applications" of it; then emptied my trash - But still there4. I called them twice but they wanted to take control of my computer + NEVER!  I used Quit - Forced Quit on my Apple - Maybe better now. Any ideas?

Yes! Me too. This was a few years ago, I had to buy a new pc afterwards. They have been calling me again for the past two days, this morning the guy swore back at me.
The story is way more fun if I tell you what I did last year. MyPhone Support was who they were and I found the companies New York address and I went over there! I got refunded three payments. If you have any questions or if it's the same guys... let me know. One of the callers - you won't believe this "Steve Martin" hahaha

I have received  a phone call from Premium Tech Support/One Source Support the guy on the phone told me I purchased there services a few years back for $299.00, he told me that he was calling me to issue a refund because of something along the lines that they could not provide services anymore. I do not remember purchasing this I also never known a company that was so dedicated and adamant to give a refund. I was on the phone with the guy and then he wanted me to download software for remote access to my computer, nope that was not going to happen so I told them I will not give access to my computer. It did not make sense to me why they needed access to my computer to issue a refund? they told me so they can take off there software? I do not own any of my computers from a few years ago because they where stolen from my home. nothing they were saying was adding up. here are the 2 numbers they called me from 315-613-3630 and 516-360-9100

update I just receive a text from the 315 area code number I asked if I could have there company name and he responded with Macafee  okay so witch one is it Macafee or Premium Tech Support or One Source Support ?

Did you have problems with your computer afterwards?  I know someone that this happened to and now he won't go on his computer.

I had the same thing happen but restarting did not get rid of the pop up.  I called their number and even gave them access to my computer.  I got a bad vibe and terminated the conversation.  Where do I file a complaint - the FCC?

Had them take over my computer as they were showing me the viruses they were taking off such as different languages involved on my computer and said they would install McAfee. They mentioned taking care of my computer for life for $500.00 and then tried to throw in additional monthly fees that were being covered up by the representative (India). The agreement was for $500.00 for life but the contract says for 1 month recurring. Look out people, I feel terrible about the giving them access. Trying to recover credit card payment now. The company name was Premium Techie support...tried to click the discontinue button and he argued that it would be just a minute while he also had control of the mouse. Not a good feeling, sick to my stomach.

I get 9 calls a day from these people a day. All from a 641 area code I block the number and each time they call from a different 641 number. I never paid for anything I have asked several times to take me off their list as I don't need tech support my husband does it for a living. They laughed and 1 even said I need to get a new husband. This has been going on for 2 months way beyond harassment. How do I get them to go away. They are calling from a India call center I can hear them in the background.

Much of this kind of CRAP is connected to what looks (appears to be) a good download from some site claiming to be abode or flash player or many others. when a popup say you need to up date something BEWARE of  link can be many different things,
many put it like you have some problem & will fix it for a price. if yoy talk to them by phone advise that you have a computer tech & that they will check out any possible problem. ITS another SCAM S,CAM, never let them into you computer unless you know exactly what company you are dealing with; much much FRAUD now days.
