Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

Someone by the name of Anna and her adopted grandfather is trying to link accounts through Identity Theft. This company used Microsoft as there logo and was sued and is now out of business. Their was a lawsuit entitled to customers and this company tried to rob their customers of their refunds including $4000.00 extra.. Some customers were threatened and told their computers will be locked for not putting refunds of $4000.00 onto a gift card to give back to the company. These individuals have access to customers personal computers at their sake. Its unsure how and why..

2 years ago, I paid for "lifetime support" from premium tech support.  they installed a macafee internet protection system for my Mac.  they seem to be legitimate because they have my computer working much better now.  they have told me that they would NEVER call me, that if i have a problem i need to call them at 877-958-7560.  they are difficult to understand with their Pakistani accent. they tell me to just hang up when i get calls from someone with a USA phone number claiming to be from their company.  i get calls constantly on my cell phone from several US numbers that they are from premium tech support (they know my address, phone # and how much and when I signed up for support) and that their company is going out of business. They claim to need more info from me so they can refund the money I paid them.  It is driving me crazy!

I had the same number .  I got sucked in  I paid for life time support.  2 months later they called me saying I was Russian hacked and needed to buy an Apple care security program. They had me get an Apple Care gift card 1 for $500 and 1 for $200    I texted the codes. Then they said it didn't go though   and I got 2 more cards.  I decided that was enough.  Don't know how to get my money back. FRUSTRATED

I guess I am in this boat too. My issue was an e mail that changed one of my accounts, when I tried to log into the account, I could not get in said no such e-mail on account, oddly, it gave me a tech support number that fits these posts. They loaded McAfee for me, I got concerned when I logged into computer later opened mcafee to check it and there was a list of computers I did not recognize on my list of protected items. Any idea how to check this further? They actually sent me the tech name, etc. Would like to know how legit this tech support is.

Just got a call from "Sean" from Premium Tech Support/Microsoft.  He said, they were hacked and by law they have to refund me $299.  He wanted to get into my computer but I said I wanted to call him back to verify.  The number he gave me was 914-250-9355 which I googled and got to this site.  Interesting and sadly to see they have been active since 2014.  I'm going to contact Microsoft.  Thanks to all who shared their experiences - we all have to be sooo careful.

Out of the blue on (02 Jun. 2019) I received a call from Premium Technical Support telling me I required assistance with my computer problem.  Problem is I never requested their assistance nor anyone Else's assistance.  I requested their Telephone number and said I would return her call later. The number is: 877 235-2448.  This whole incident stinks like a SCAM.  She has an Asian accent, but said she is calling from Calif.

Hmmm..I have Premium Tech Support that I contracted for tech support in 2014.  Have been extremely  pleased with them.  But today, their phone does not answer 866-348-0117 and yes they had the LogMeIn address.  I was looking under Premium Tech Support when I saw this chat info about scams.  I wonder if same company ?...but phone number is different....and they told me at the end of every session, do not answer or do anything if someone calls you claiming to be Premium Tech Support because we "never" call you.  I hope this is NOT a scam because sadly I just renewed my two year support last fall and it should run until Sept 21...Does anyone know if this is the same company as scammers but with different phone number.  Did other scammers do work for you or just take your money?

Add my experience to the long list of those scammed.  Popup with Apple logo=diaster. 11 hours in my PC plus adding Norton & McAfee security computer slowed down to where I shut it off to reboot.  Would not reboot.  Called them back 2 days later.  They could not reboot after 1 1/2 hours.  I'm easy pickin's as a 71 year-old hearing impaired fool.  STAY CLEAR!  Arguing over $ now.

I was scammed out of $4500.00 by premium tech support a few days ago. I received a voicemail that my account was charged $399 for tech support, of course I didn’t authorize this so I called to get a refund. The tech said the only way I could get a refund was to allow them access to my computer which like a dummy I did. When they were in they uploaded all these applications and were in my bank account. Once there they said they made a refund error and refunded $5000. They said I would have to refund this money minus the $399 via the purchase of gift cards or I would be investigated by the FTC. I received an email shortly after him saying this allegedly from the FTC saying I will be prosecuted if I didn’t repay the money via “digital “ cards (gift cards) Little did I know that they transferred $5000 out of my savings into my checking. So I am out this money. Filed a police report and closed all my accounts. Also disputed the transactions. Am notifying BBB and the FTC. How did I not see this??? I feel so foolish but hopefully someone will benefit from reading this. NEVER LET ANYONE HAVE REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER!!!

Why is the federal government allowing this company to remain in business and scamming people? They scammed me for the amount of $1500 in repairs plus, ultimately, computer replacement.  I just received another call offering a refund IF I would I'd allow a technician to remotely check my computer.  And, they all speak with a foreign accent.

My wife got a call today telling her that her IP address was infected with "foreign ip addresses "  (hint, hint, Russian and China) and they needed to sell us a software package we would need to go to Dollar
General or Wal mart or ebay and pay and give them the activation code and they would pay us back in 5 minutes or they would  black out her computer!  Unfortunately she let them into her computer.  This is a scam!  don't let them gain entrance to your computer.  So far, no computer issues. I spent over two hours arguing they want to wear you down.  If the computer is infected it is their  fault and they should clean up their mess.  My internet  provider says we are not infected.  Don't fall for their urgency.

Premium Tech Support is the most frequently reported scam group. So, why are they still in business? And, why hasn't the federal government not intervene?  They're easy to reach and investigate!

once they get in your computer they disable your IP security so they can come and go without you even knowing. all the calls you receive are people trying to get inside.. I recommend you get with McAfee Techs and have the do a through check of your system.  Trust me

The newest phone number they are using is 385-444-4475.  These people should be executed for the fraud they commit.

Premium Support has been calling me asking that they need my checking account number in order to reimburse $399  I do not use my checking account and the refund indicated that the refund was to my debit card, another method of payment that I do not use..  This must be a scam.
