Yesterday a phone # 1-855-763-0456 called and said they were from Premium Tech Support and wanted an ok to let them into my Internet system, I refused (they had me type in support.me and my computer screen said not to do this), I didn't.
Now this morn at aprox 8:30 I had a call from 267-354-8119 claiming they were from Premium Tech Support, I hung up and they called back and I told them to stop bothering me and I hung up again. How do they get your phone # and email address?  BEWARE!!!

Three months ago I ordered and am satisfied with some software support from Premium Techie.  Today, someone named David from 205-419-8177 said the company was bought and will no longer support the software and will issue a refund, but needed access to my computer to remove the software......I refused and hung up after he threatened to block my computer.

Long story short, I am sure they wanted access to my bank account to withdraw funds rather than depositing a refund and/or try to upsell more programs to deal with non-existent malware......or add malware just for spite.  He had all the order detail, but of course refused to send a letter of explanation to my e-mail.

The number is in Alabama, but his accent was from India.  Don't let anybody calling direct have access to your computer for any reason.  I reported this to FTC.

Just checked Premium Techie Support website and they advise that scammers are impersonating Premium Techie representative pitching the refund scam.  Premium Techie Support says they will never call customers unsolicited.

A caller rang me had an asian accent who claimed he was from virgin media saying i was entitled to a refund because they failed to protect me, he then to my amazement run a program which seem to support his claim it, but it was not until he asked me to log onto my back account i became suspicious and declined when he became inpatient and started making up reasons so i terminated the call. This was just the start of my troubles Having believed i had been hacked by someone i called PTS The number acquired from a downloaded program
driver-wizz the number put me through to PTS, i explained everything to them and asked for there help feeling very vulnerable i let them connect to my PC they took some details email address and name etc and said that would set a technician on asap. They said they would give me three years support they could upgrade my PC to windows 7 and they would install a better anti virus program on my PC. Then told me it would cost me $725.00
over £600,00 GBP was a lot of money but i felt helpless so i agreed and paid them the money. In the fortnight that followed i had been on the phone nearly every other day working with them to fix my computer and install a better anti virus and windows 7 which they did not achieve because my pc was not equipped. Eventually i said enough is enough i want a refund then amazingly they got a supervisor came on phone saying they would fix my PC once only and give me a partial refund. i thought that better than nothing said OK, I have been ringing and waiting for that refund now for over 8 weeks they make excuses every time i ring threatening them with legal action does no good can anyone advise me how to get my money back if i did not know better i would say that it was them who tried to scam me in the first place.

Dealing with the scam too.  Had a message that came up that looked like a legit Apple warning.  I bought ther Mac Cleaner,  next thing they were trying to charge $500 for a firewall....Like an idiot,  I gave them my CC infor.  I called my CC and told them I want to not pay them.  I had a bit of a tirade and used may bad words my mother told me not to use.  They backed off and took the $500 charge off but still wanted to charge a monthly charge.  I cancelled my CC so the leak will stop.  If the Mac Cleaner actually works,  I do not mine the $118 I paid.

I fell for it and paid $400 for lifetime support.  They did fix the initial issue, however a few months later I had another issue and all they wanted to do was sell me more programs.  I hung up and went to another service.
BUT JUST NOW THEY STARTED CALLING ME.  It is about refunding me my $400 because they are closing down here in the US and going to England.  They want to access my computer to find my subscription number in order to effect the refund.  I am NOT letting them access my computer and have said goodbye to my money several months ago.

i got a call from Premium online tech yesterday do not trust them they are BIG SCAMS big time.  They told me at I will be getting a refund of $299.99 but instead they took out a lot of money from my account. One of the money that they took out was blocked so I got that back but the other one I did not get back yet my bank is checking it into it.  Be careful they can also use your email address to take out funds which I never knew you can by using email address.  Did anyone out there dealt with a guy name Mike Rogers or Kevin or James Wilson I have their ID and phone numbers.  Don't be SCAM.  They are very convincing too.  Please HANG UP.  They keep calling my place too they scammed me of $2,800 now they want to put it back in I said NO.  Hopefully, I will bet that back from my bank.

They told me that the name was Premium Technical solutions and that their company was based in Salmon, Idaho.  A notice appeared on my screen saying that I had been invaded with pornographic software and they needed to fix it.  My screen was frozen.  I could do nothing to make it work.  After yelling and screaming a while I turned off the power to my computer.  Rebooted it a few minutes later and all was OK.

My husband and I get 50 calls a day from 877-958-7560. They tried to charge us for $399.98 we called our credit card immediately and told them it was fraud I then made a police report, an FTC report , and an FBI report   Also contacted the government fraud alert. The important thing to do when u get these [***] is to report them. This has been going in a long time. My suggestion is report them to every bureau u can!  Don’t just do nothing. They will get these people, they can not hide after I have called the FTC, FBI, Washington, etc. they will be hanging from their fng necks shortly can’t wait!!!

There is a real Premium Tech Support that I have used.  They are excellent and they clearly state that they will never call you, ask to access your accounts, or ask for money.  The only thing they did for me was debug my computer and install the McAfee security for me.  Now, there is another company that is posing as them.  They are the hackers and they got me on Friday.  My stupid fault.  They told me there was a bug in the system in McAfee and that they were going to refund my money.  I even asked them about them saying they don;t call and the guy said that it was because of the refund so I gave them access to my account.  I got suspicious and called the real Premium Tech Support and they said they didn't have anyone by the name of "Mark", working for them and to unplug my wifi immediately.  These hackers got $3000 of my money because in accessing my account, they made a mistake and I needed to pay them back, so I did.  Voila, the money that was overpaid disappeared.  They undid a bunch of the security walls on my computer and locked me out of it.  Premium Tech Support fixed it all.  IF you get phone numbers located in Washington, Philadelphia, California, and they claim they're in D.C..  These are the hackers.  These are the numbers I received calls from, 206-317-1560, 947-080-3649, 626-507-3110.
The real Premium Tech Support is 877-958-7560 if you want to call them.  They are in India and they have been very helpful.  If they call you, you should be able to call them back and ask for the operator you were talking to.  I feel your pain and I hope this info helps.

This happened too me as well.  They got me for $1400 thru Google Pay cards to resolve some issue with my computer.  Then to get that money back plus much more, I was supper to get Apple pay cards.  Well, I finally wised up.  Then two weeks after the computer issue, I got a call from the same number, this time saying I was selected to be given 3 or 4k$ because i had paid my bills on time. I played along to see how this scam worked and this time is was to purchase something using Western Union.  When i told the dude he was linked to Premium Technical Support, he hung up.

I have had a roller coaster relationship with the folks at Premium Technical Support. but have reamined their loyal customer in spite of things.  What I continue to fail to understand is about 2 years ago I called up with an issue on my system and hhey talked me into some kind of lifetime Premium Tech Support Program thatd always be there this one time fee for about $600 for a one time payment.  jUst recently when I have caalled they want to charge me a refundable $2 service charge via my credit card. Thenthey come up with some excuse why my comuter is having issues and that they  have just developed the software that will takeh hives off of bease or some remarkable claim  I feel more like I am at used cars sales place in the desert that i do with an uth an auto detailer.  I guess the bottom line the $600 for lifetime service + $1.99 each call and whatver 3 digit price tag itme they feel I cannot live without must be purchased ASAP while I am on the line with them.  There goes dinner and the rest of the evening watching my screen as some Saudi Arabic sounding voice mutters into the pone while having remote access to my computer system.  Now what to do?

i,too recieved an email from them.i had this happen to me not long ago,& was gullible enough to actually give them my info.they claimed they owed me a refund,& they would automatically transfer the refund to my bank account.after the supposed transaction,he claimed he deposited too much,& urged me to go immediately to my bank, draw out the amount he claimed to over deposit, get a money transfer in that amount & send it to him.i told him i wasn't planning on going to the bank & he pleaded with me to do it or he would get fired from his job.i pretended to follow his wishes, hung up the phone,& called my bank & they said no deposit had been made & since i had already given them my info.they advised me to come to the bank immediately & change my banking account.i did & had to get a new bank card too.luckily i was able to act quick enough before they could steal my money, but i keep a very close eye on my bank account to make sure they don't do anything in the future.
