LA Fitness NAMES/EMAILS/NUMBERS to cancel membership!!!

LA Fitness tells you the "ONLY" way you can cancel your membership is for you to physically go into the gym and they will print off cancellation forms, which you will have to mail out yourself.  I sent my cancellations forms almost 2 weeks prior to having them take out the monthly gym fees. I felt this gave them enough time to cancel at its entirety BUT that didn't happen. I was so aggravated with the run arounds. I finally was able to get names/emails/numbers of individuals at LA Fitness headquarters who can make sure your membership is cancelled.  I do have to say "Orlando Gonzalez" was extremely professional and very cordial. He immediately reassured my memberships would be cancelled AND he would make sure I was reimbursed for the monthly fee they had just taken out.  Here is the information:   Orlando Gonzalez  (949) 255-7277  orlandog@lafitness.com  and Aylin Medina (pronounced Eileen) (949) 255-7330  aylinm@lafitness.com

    I called LA Fitness to cancel my membership and they gave me all of the information where to mail it and when it needed to get there so I would not get charged another month's fee's. So I did as they told me and what to my surprise they pulled out of my checking account. These people are so rude I can't believe they can stay in business. I would never recommend anyone going to this gym. I now have gone to Cardinal it might not be as big but the people are much friendlier and no contracts. Too bad LA Fitness I would never give your name to anyone your loss.

      Not only is the personnel rude, they don't know the difference between a hole in the wall and their [***]. To put it miildley.

      Send A CANCELLATION FORM to me at new address, or e-mail since I moved in Dec 2012;  Have not attended the gym since last July.  Stop Automatic payments immediately.

        I actually found the original post to be quite helpful. I politely reached out to Orlando and he immediately followed up asking for some info to find my membership and within a matter of moments cancelled my membership.

        The one thing i will say was that i had already fulfilled my contractual obligation so the membership that I had cancelled was a month to month opt-in payment. I cannot speak to cancelling within a contract period.

      I have the same experience they just steal your money I canceled at front and they said you are set and now they charge me another month

    I called the aylin girl and asked her to help but so much for the help.she just brushed me off just like the manager at the gym i was going to. I do not think there is hope when it comes to lafitness and cancellation.You explain to the manager that you can not afford the payment of 96 dollars but he goes ahead to tell you, ohh you have to pay 336 dollars.in the first place did you here i can't pay ninty? These guys are crooks.And for aylin she told me sorry about your situation but you have to pay the whole amout at once.so much for the help.

      Yes, I spoke with the other two mentioned and the same thing happend too! I spoke with Catalina and Orlando and they told me the same thing you did and didn't want to give me the time of day.

        Do you think I could go to the headquarters to cancel my personal training contract. I've only had it for about a week now.
