LA Fitness NAMES/EMAILS/NUMBERS to cancel membership!!!

LA Fitness tells you the "ONLY" way you can cancel your membership is for you to physically go into the gym and they will print off cancellation forms, which you will have to mail out yourself.  I sent my cancellations forms almost 2 weeks prior to having them take out the monthly gym fees. I felt this gave them enough time to cancel at its entirety BUT that didn't happen. I was so aggravated with the run arounds. I finally was able to get names/emails/numbers of individuals at LA Fitness headquarters who can make sure your membership is cancelled.  I do have to say "Orlando Gonzalez" was extremely professional and very cordial. He immediately reassured my memberships would be cancelled AND he would make sure I was reimbursed for the monthly fee they had just taken out.  Here is the information:   Orlando Gonzalez  (949) 255-7277  orlandog@lafitness.com  and Aylin Medina (pronounced Eileen) (949) 255-7330  aylinm@lafitness.com

    I was told by my doctor i could no longer work out because of my knees and i did every thing i was told to do and thy are still making me keep my contract  i have called head office and no one will return my call this is some bull [***] because i am paying 200.00 a month and can not work out or use my trainer the are not keeping there word

      That is the number that is on your Key Fob that you scan when you check in at the front counter.

    Hi kate l apply for a job at LA Fitness Signature at Don Mills. I went to see this manager name Amanda for a interview everything went fine. She told she call me later on that she has other poeple to interview. So l waited for her call but she never called instead l call her just to get a update of the job.she told me that she hire someone. I was upset l don't understand l have 2years expérience as a cleaner. I wasted my time coming there for nothing and this pouring rain.l think also she wanted to hire a flipino for the job and cuz l was not a flipino l didn't get the job. Ifs true l think it has racist to do with this. I seen a flipino there working. Thats two LA Fitness turn me down. Well Amanda you blew your chance with me you just lost the best cleaner.l thought you were a nice person but l guess l was wrong about you. At least you could of giving me a second chance or to giving me a try and l could prove you l could do the job. Anyway everybody deserves a second chance. That was not nice.next time call and let me know about the job your the manager.its your job. Thanks for not giving a chnce to try.goodbye.😭

    I am quiting LA FITNESS because the have a female cleaning the male dressing room and it is not right that they put this cleaning Hispanic lady to do this job.  I ask the manager if they would do the same for the ladies area and he commented if needed.  I have them 3 oppertunities and that is why a am canceling my membership.  Adios LA

    LA FITNESS is the worst rip off in the fitness industry. There is no manager in these places as they change every few days. everyfew days there is a new manger to the one we go to in carrollton tx who does not know what he is doing, the staff and manager just give you a run around.  LA fitness corporate customer service (we talked to DIANA DAO) is the worst because you cannot seem to complain they dont want to solve your problem just change the club even though you have to drive 45 minutes for one way to get a session for 25 minutes which makes a lot of sense for them as they are ripping you off.
    You cannot get out of the contract as they would want you to pay 50% contract buy out so you are screwed either way.
    I would suggest do not ever sign any contracts with LA FITNESS. its the worst fitness club with terrible management and customer service and untrained employees who do not know how to resolve issues or care about customer issues. As long as you you have signed a contract they get their money and you are totally screwed till the contract runs out which if you do not take care in time they would keep renewing automatically and charging up your credit cards or account.

    I physically went in to cancel my membership and 2 people under my name.  They cancelled my name but kept charging me for the others.  I tried to speak with operations manager and was told nobody in the gym could help me.  I called corporate and they told me they couldn't refund me until they talked to the operations manager.  I asked for the manager and the call was directed back to the gym with no operations manager!  I finally called back corporate and talked to Kevin whom said it would ba cancelled and my payment back to me on Tuesday.  I'm holding my breath!

      Did you ever get your refund? Was it a full refund, if so? I'm going through the same thing, only I tried to cancel 3 days after signing up, but have gotten the same run around.

    I did everything Tgeu asked me to do and they keep calling me for a payment. I'm so sorry I ever signed up for this place. I left Snsp Fitness a few years ago because it was more of a travel. So sorry I did. It's a great gym and cancellation was s breeze.

    I emailed the people mentioned in these posts, thank goodness I found this website and thank you to everyone who posted emails. Hopefully this works and my personal training membership is canceled. Thank you so much. Will update and let you know if it worked!

    I cancelled my account with LA FItness as of April of 2016. I just looked at my checking acct April of 2017, very rare I have to look. (But will from now on) Because companies like LA Fitness are telling a customer one thing and doing another. They said I would be cancelled as April 16 yet I was being billed every month since. Rep said she would do a courtesy cancellation over phone THIS time, as they DO NOT do this over phone. Stating that rep in 2016 should have told me that they don't do cancellations over phone. I said, "Excuse miss but aren't you going to do one right now"? Pathetic! Said she hoped I felt LA Fitness was meeting half way. I said NO! Half way would be giving me half the year. Not 2 months. I've been ROBBED.

    I got talked into the personal training at a large added expense.  I was promised night time appointments and weekend appointments.  Each time I tried to make an appt., either I would show up and there wouldn't be a trainer because they quit or were fired, or they had no trainers available. I was paying for a service that they could not provide.  I spoke to people at my local gym and corporate offices until I was blue.  I finally had to dispute each charge with my credit card company.  I am waiting for the outcome on that.
    What they don't get is, I don't want to cancel my membership, that's on me if I don't go.  If they can't provide me with a service that they talked me into, then I want my money back.
