LA Fitness NAMES/EMAILS/NUMBERS to cancel membership!!!
LA Fitness tells you the "ONLY" way you can cancel your membership is for you to physically go into the gym and they will print off cancellation forms, which you will have to mail out yourself. I sent my cancellations forms almost 2 weeks prior to having them take out the monthly gym fees. I felt this gave them enough time to cancel at its entirety BUT that didn't happen. I was so aggravated with the run arounds. I finally was able to get names/emails/numbers of individuals at LA Fitness headquarters who can make sure your membership is cancelled. I do have to say "Orlando Gonzalez" was extremely professional and very cordial. He immediately reassured my memberships would be cancelled AND he would make sure I was reimbursed for the monthly fee they had just taken out. Here is the information: Orlando Gonzalez (949) 255-7277 orlandog@lafitness.com and Aylin Medina (pronounced Eileen) (949) 255-7330 aylinm@lafitness.com

You guys are life savers. Thanks!
I'm cancelling my personal trainer contract within the 5-day period, pretty much the day after I signed the darn contract. I caved under the sales pressure, but came to my senses when I got home. It's just not worth over $800 for 2, 30-min. sessions a month, for 12 months.. nor can I afford it.
Should I send a certified mail notice as well? I don't think I need a cancellation form for the personal training contract, because it states that one should mail a cancellation notice... nothing suggests a form?
I will keep you posted to see if I get my refunded down payment.
The Ops manager could care less because I need to cancel this membership and my personal training contract, as this is something I COULDN'T avoid.
I contacted Aylin Medina by email and she ended my membership but she said I still have to either pay 120 a month for the personal training, or pay 600 dollars to end it. This is ridiculous and an enormous amount of stress due to a future death in my family. I understand it's a contract, but is there ANY POSSIBLE WAY to END the personal training contract without having to pay the ridiculous money?? Please help!
I called and left Orlando a message and the next day, I received a call from a rep named Diana. She was quite helpful in getting my issue resolved so I have no complaints.
JUST CONTACT ORLANDO!
