    defective washing machine
    I purchased a Maytag washing machine Model MTW5700TQ0 in Sept. 2008 which had a faulty transmission. The machine was immediately replaced, but 3 years later, the transmission is again faulty. Maytag/Kitchenaid/Whirlpool has refused any responsibility for repair or replacement.

    Terrible Washer Repair experience for 18month old washer
    The repairman failed to wait for the wash cycle to run, so the washer is still broken and apparently the 800-service number was unable to get him to return because the ticket was closed.     A & E factory repair
    i contacted maytag service dept. they recommended "A & E" repair, $129. service call, 5 minu;tes later i was informed the dryer vent pipe is loose, that is an installation problem, i Don"t do that. stay away from A&E, call your local service repair, (29.00) save a 100 dollars, never again.
